Cait Wallenhorst

Teaches: All Levels Contemporary

A native of the greater Buffalo, NY area, Cait grew up dancing ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip-hop, modern, and Afro-Caribbean styles at her local studio throughout middle and high school. She attended college at State University of New York at Geneseo, where she obtained a minor in dance, was a selected member of the Geneseo Dance Ensemble, performed in multiple pieces adjudicated at the American College Dance Festival Association (ACDFA), and danced/choreographed for the student-led dance group Orchesis. Currently, Cait has been a member of Cleveland Dance Project since 2019; she has choreographed for 3 showcases for the organization and has been a dancer in 7 showcases. She also teaches toddler/preschool classes with Dance to EvOLvE. Aside from dance, Cait holds a masters degree in School Psychology and has worked as a school psychologist for Cleveland Metropolitan School District for 8 years. She is a mom to three young kids with whom she loves to share the joy of dance!
