All rehearsals will be held at CDP Studios - 5505 Valley Belt Rd, Suite B, Independence, OH
Before auditions:
Watch choreographer videos / check out the rehearsal schedule so you know who to rank! (We always recommend ranking as many dances as you can to maximize your casting potential - due to high numbers of auditioning dancers, not everyone can be cast so rank a lot and come to class to hone your technique before auditions!)
Print and complete the preference form and bring it with you to auditions.
Register for auditions to save your spot!
Videos of the audition combos are now posted on our YouTube page. You do NOT need to know the choreography from the below videos. Also, you do not have to pre-learn the audition combos, we only post them in advance to help make you feel more comfortable at auditions! If you don’t have time to pre-learn we will still teach them at auditions as if no one knows them ;)
You’ll see potential costume costs below for each piece - these are just an estimate and may change.
There is a YouTube playlist, HOWEVER some of our videos are only on vimeo, so make sure you watch down below too!

Music: Sam Smith FT. Madonna - Vulgar
Rehearsals: Saturdays 3-4:30pm
Potential Costumes (& possible dancer investment): Animal print punk - Black , leather, chains, animal print, face paint, etc. (dancers closets)
INSTRUCTIONS ON FILLING OUT THE FORM - MUST READ or watch the video!
Fill out your name and number of dances you’d like to be in (you can be cast in 1, 2, or 3 pieces). Leave audition # & time blank as you’ll be assigned a number at auditions. SIGN THE WAIVER or you will not be cast.
Front of the sheet shows you each dance’s details. There is a blank box on the left next to each choreographer for your ranking. Rank the pieces in order of preference, 1 being the piece you’d like to be in the most, 2 being the 2nd, etc. We encourage you to rank as many pieces as you can to increase your chances of being cast. We do our best to cast everyone, but if you only rank a few pieces, that likelihood of you being cast will decrease. Rank all the pieces if you want…but do NOT rank pieces if you cannot make the rehearsal. You will not be placed in any pieces that you do not rank. You CAN rank pieces that rehearse at the same time, we will make sure you are not cast in conflicting rehearsals!
Auditing Dances: Please circle Y or N to let us know if you are willing to audit a dance, ONLY IF WE CANNOT CAST YOU IN AS MANY DANCES AS YOU’D LIKE. Auditing a dance is an opportunity for you to train more! Being willing to audit, only increases your chance of being cast in the season and increases your ability to train, learn, and grow so that the next season you come back better than before. Your role is to train with the other dancers, learn the piece particularly in one person’s spot, and then step in when people are missing from rehearsals. Auditing dancers will NOT perform unless in special circumstances with director approval. Your choreographer will let you know more specifics on what to expect from your role.
